Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his Croatian counterpart Andrej Plenkovic have signed a document establishing a strategic dialogue between the two nations. The agreement aims to bolster bilateral relations and foster closer ties across various sectors of mutual interest.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Armenian Prime Minister announced the signing on his official X social media account. "We are ready to raise Armenia-Croatia cooperation to a new level and expand interaction in key areas, including within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership," Pashinyan noted in his statement.
The move reflects Armenia's ongoing efforts to deepen its engagement with European Union member states and diversify its diplomatic portfolio. Croatia, which joined the EU in 2013, has been an active proponent of European integration for regional partners. This new strategic dialogue is expected to facilitate regular political consultations and enhance cooperation in fields such as economy, security, and governance, further aligning Armenia with European standards.
