Ərdoğan: "Bölgəmizə sülh İsrailə rəğmən gələcək"

Turkish President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed current affairs during his party's group meeting at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the head of state covered both domestic policy and regional security issues in his address.

Erdogan evaluated the tensions in the Middle East and criticized Israel's policies. He stated that Turkey would continue to play a constructive role in ensuring peace and stability in the region. The President also emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts in resolving regional issues concerning Iran.

The Turkish leader also touched upon the activities of opposition parties, noting that internal political disputes negatively impact the work of the parliament. According to him, political intrigue and disagreements hinder democratic processes.

Furthermore, Erdogan discussed domestic security, highlighting the successful progress of the "Terror-Free Turkey" initiative, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP). He emphasized that the fight against terrorism remains a top priority for the country's development and stability.

The President noted that eliminating the threat of terrorism would significantly contribute to Turkey's economic and social development, accelerating the country's transition to a new phase of growth.

Turkey, a NATO member and a key regional power, frequently utilizes its parliamentary sessions to outline its foreign policy doctrine. The "Terror-Free Turkey" initiative is a long-standing strategic objective aimed at neutralizing threats from militant groups, which Ankara views as essential for maintaining national sovereignty and fostering economic prosperity in the region.
