During the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan, First Lady Emine Erdogan participated in a special program organized for the spouses of leaders in Bishkek.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the event was hosted by Aygul Japarova, the spouse of the President of Kyrgyzstan. Attendees included First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva of Azerbaijan, Peng Liyuan, the spouse of the Chinese leader, and Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, the First Lady of Uzbekistan.
The event, held at the Ala Archa State Residence, offered guests an immersive experience into Kyrgyzstan's cultural heritage. The program featured traditional music performances on instruments such as the komuz, exhibitions of felt art and carpet weaving, and displays of national costumes. Guests also observed traditional Kyrgyz cultural elements, including eagle demonstrations and the presentation of Taigan hunting dogs. The program concluded with a concert featuring children's folk dance groups, where melodies from various participating nations were performed. Emine Erdogan later praised Kyrgyzstan's aesthetic values and craftsmanship on social media, noting the beauty of the children's musical performances.
