Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree approving the "Rules for conducting competitions and mandatory training for the recruitment of state bailiffs to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan."

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Cabinet of Ministers issued the decision to streamline the selection process for judicial enforcement officers. The new regulations specify that the recruitment competition will consist of two primary stages: a qualifying test examination and a subsequent interview phase. Only individuals with higher education who meet the specific legal requirements established by national legislation are eligible to participate in the selection process.

The decree aims to enhance the professional standards within the judicial system of Azerbaijan by ensuring a transparent and merit-based entry into the civil service. Following the successful completion of the competition, candidates will be required to undergo mandatory professional training to prepare them for the legal and ethical responsibilities of serving as state bailiffs.

This initiative is part of broader legal reforms in Azerbaijan designed to modernize the Ministry of Justice and improve the efficiency of the execution of court decisions. By formalizing the recruitment and training protocols, the Cabinet of Ministers seeks to strengthen the rule of law and ensure that the enforcement of judicial mandates is carried out by highly qualified personnel across the country.
