The Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan has announced that the test examination for candidates applying for the position of state enforcement officer will take place on July 12, 2026. This update was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry.

The application period for the competition, which was officially announced on April 17, has concluded. The Ministry's Competition Commission confirmed that the upcoming examination will be conducted via computer at the State Examination Center's electronic testing facility, located at 50 S.S. Akhundov Street, Binagadi district, Baku. The exam is scheduled to commence at the time specified on each candidate's admission ticket.

The test examination is conducted on a paid basis by the State Examination Center. Candidates are required to register on the Center's official website and complete the necessary payment to obtain their admission tickets.

The examination will consist of 100 questions in total: 60 questions focused on legislation relevant to the activities of an enforcement officer, and 40 questions designed to assess logical reasoning, general knowledge, worldview, and communication skills. Each legislation-related question is valued at 1 point, while the remaining questions are valued at 0.5 points each. Candidates must score at least 55 out of a possible 80 points to qualify for the subsequent interview stage.

Certain categories of applicants are exempt from the test examination phase, in accordance with the "Regulations on the conduct of competitions and interviews for candidates for admission to justice bodies," approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 673 dated December 13, 2007. These include individuals currently serving in the prosecutor's office or other law enforcement agencies with special or military ranks, those holding administrative positions in other state bodies, individuals with a Doctor of Science degree in law, and former judges.

Candidates who successfully pass the test or are exempt from it must submit the required documentation to the Ministry's Human Resources Department within 15 working days, starting from July 13. Those who meet the criteria established by the Law "On Service in Justice Bodies" will proceed to the final interview stage. For further inquiries, applicants may contact the Ministry at (012) 510-10-01 (extensions: 10705, 10713, 10409, 10416).

The recruitment of state enforcement officers is a critical component of the Ministry of Justice's efforts to strengthen the rule of law and ensure the efficient execution of judicial decisions across Azerbaijan. By maintaining rigorous standards for entry, the Ministry aims to uphold professionalism and integrity within the judicial system.
