In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, intermittent rain is expected from the evening of June 24 through the morning of June 25. There is a high probability of short-term intense rainfall and lightning in certain parts of the peninsula.

According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the National Hydrometeorological Service, the unstable and rainy weather conditions currently observed across the regions of Azerbaijan are expected to persist until June 29.

Meteorologists warn that precipitation may be intense and heavy in some areas, accompanied by lightning and potential hail. Furthermore, authorities have cautioned that water levels in rivers are expected to rise, and short-term flooding and mudflows cannot be ruled out in some mountain rivers.

The National Hydrometeorological Service, which operates under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, regularly monitors meteorological changes to ensure public safety. These weather warnings are part of the state's proactive disaster risk reduction strategy, aimed at alerting citizens and relevant emergency services to potential hazards caused by sudden climatic shifts.
