Foreign embassies in Azerbaijan extend Gurban Bayram greetings

The embassies of Croatia, the Netherlands, Russia, and Moldova have extended their congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Gurban Bayram.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, these greetings were officially published on the social media pages of the respective diplomatic missions.

In its message, the Embassy of Croatia in Azerbaijan wished the Azerbaijani people success and prosperity. Similarly, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Azerbaijan issued a statement saying, "We sincerely congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the holy Gurban Bayram."

The Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan also shared a warm message: "We congratulate the brotherly people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Gurban Bayram! May this blessed holiday inspire good deeds, strengthen mutual understanding and harmony, and bring the joy of warm communication with loved ones."

The Embassy of Moldova in Azerbaijan also extended its greetings to the Muslim community in the country. "May this holy holiday bring peace, health, prosperity, and harmony to every home, and may the values of solidarity, compassion, and generosity continue to inspire mutual understanding and unity in society. The Moldovan Embassy expresses its deep respect for the traditions and culture of the Muslim community and wishes everyone celebrating the holiday goodness, peace of mind, and well-being in the company of their loved ones," the diplomatic mission noted in its statement.

Gurban Bayram, also known as Eid al-Adha, is one of the most significant religious holidays in the Islamic calendar, celebrated annually in Azerbaijan with widespread festivities, charity, and family gatherings, reflecting the country's deep-rooted traditions of multiculturalism and religious tolerance.
