Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) has announced that passengers will now be able to travel to the country's regions from the newly commissioned Darnagul station in Baku.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing the joint-stock company, that starting June 6, trains operating on the Baku-Gazakh-Baku, Baku-Aghstafa-Baku, Baku-Balakan-Baku, and Baku-Gabala-Baku routes will make stops at this station.

According to the official statement, tickets for these routes can be purchased through the ADY website, the "ADY Mobile" application, or at railway ticket offices. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to modernize Azerbaijan's transport infrastructure and provide more accessible transit options for residents and tourists traveling from the capital to the western and northwestern regions of the country.

The expansion of railway services in Azerbaijan aligns with the state's commitment to improving logistics and regional connectivity. Over the past decade, Azerbaijan has invested heavily in the renovation of its railway network, including the introduction of high-speed passenger trains and the reconstruction of major transport hubs. These developments not only enhance domestic mobility but also strengthen Azerbaijan's position as a key transit corridor in the South Caucasus region.
