The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) is continuing the search for Zeynayb Rasim gizi Mammadzada, born in 2007, who went missing on July 6 in an uncontrolled area of the sea in the Shuvalan settlement of Baku's Khazar district.

This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The ministry stated that the search and rescue operation involves a helicopter from the MES Aviation Detachment, the Special Risky Rescue Service, and forces from the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue.

The incident occurred on July 6 in the Mardakan settlement area, approximately 2 kilometers from the nearest rescue station, where four individuals were reported to have drowned in an uncontrolled swimming zone. Following immediate emergency response measures, Rasim Gahraman oglu Mammadov (born 1975) and Aytan Rasim gizi Mammadzada (born 2016) were rescued. During the subsequent search operations, the body of Raul Rasim oglu Mammadov (born 2005) was recovered from the water and handed over to the relevant authorities.

The search for Zeynayb Mammadzada remains ongoing, with emergency teams utilizing both aerial and maritime assets to locate the missing individual. Further updates regarding the operation will be provided as they become available.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations frequently conducts such operations during the summer season in Azerbaijan, emphasizing the importance of swimming only in designated areas where professional lifeguards are present to ensure public safety.
