English Premier League side Chelsea remains determined to secure the transfer of Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall. Despite his current tenure at St. James' Park, the London club is actively exploring options to bring the defender back to Stamford Bridge.

According to information reported by journalist Simon Phillips, citing the "Transfer News Live" portal, the London club is continuing its competition with Manchester United for the player's signature. The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Chelsea management believes their chances of finalizing the transfer are high, particularly as Manchester United has reportedly struggled to make significant progress in negotiations.

The club is keen to re-integrate Hall, who is a product of their own youth academy. It is worth noting that the specialized portal "Transfermarkt" currently estimates the transfer value of the 21-year-old English defender at 40 million euros. Hall spent 12 years developing within Chelsea's youth system before his move to Newcastle, making him a familiar face to the club's coaching staff and hierarchy.
