Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda, Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan shared details of the meeting on its official X social media account. During the discussions, the ministers explored prospects for both bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two nations.

Despite the geographical distance, both parties emphasized that developing cooperation remains a priority on the agenda. They expressed confidence that the establishment of a political consultation mechanism would significantly contribute to strengthening diplomatic ties and fostering future partnerships between Azerbaijan and Rwanda.

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum is a high-level gathering of political leaders, diplomats, and academics aimed at addressing global and regional challenges through dialogue. For Azerbaijan, the forum serves as a strategic platform to expand its diplomatic reach in Africa and reinforce its commitment to international cooperation and South-South relations.
