Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, currently on an official visit to Ukraine, has traveled to the city of Irpin to observe the reconstruction efforts in the Kyiv region.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the visit was confirmed by Ukraine's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Yuriy Husyev, in a post on the X social media platform.
“I am pleased to welcome Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to the hero city of Irpin, which is being rebuilt with the support of Azerbaijan,” Ambassador Husyev stated.
The diplomat expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan's ongoing solidarity with Ukraine. “We are grateful to Azerbaijan for its solidarity with Ukraine and for the ongoing joint efforts to strengthen the strategic partnership between our countries,” he emphasized.
Irpin, a city located in the Kyiv Oblast, suffered significant destruction during the early stages of the conflict in Ukraine. Azerbaijan has been actively involved in humanitarian aid and reconstruction projects in the region, reflecting the deepening strategic partnership between Baku and Kyiv. These efforts underscore Azerbaijan's commitment to supporting Ukraine's recovery and infrastructure restoration.
