Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has held a meeting with Ignazio Cassis, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, member of the Swiss Federal Council, and head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the meeting via its official social media account on X.
During the discussions, the parties reviewed the current agenda of Azerbaijan-Switzerland bilateral relations, regional and international developments, as well as prospects for cooperation within the framework of the OSCE. Switzerland has historically maintained a neutral diplomatic stance, often serving as a mediator in international conflicts, and its engagement with Azerbaijan is viewed as a critical component of broader European-South Caucasus diplomatic dialogue.
