Regular contacts are being maintained with Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Another meeting with the Armenian foreign minister in the near future cannot be ruled out.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made the remarks to journalists on the sidelines of the high-level opening ceremony of the Fourth Climate Week of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (CW4) in Baku.

“Our last meeting was held in Bishkek. There, we agreed that bilateral meetings should continue. The delimitation process is also regularly discussed. Both Azerbaijan and Armenia are addressing this issue at the commission level. So far, it has been agreed and clarified that the overall delimitation process will proceed from north to south. Specific details are discussed when the time comes,” the minister said.

Azerbaijan and Armenia have continued diplomatic contacts on a peace agreement and the delimitation of their state border. The two countries have established commissions tasked with addressing border-related issues through negotiations.
