Former Armenian president Robert Kocharyan has been hospitalized, according to reports from local media outlets.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing the Armenian news portal "Aysor," that the incident occurred while Kocharyan was being questioned by law enforcement officials at the Anti-Corruption Committee. During the proceedings, his health condition reportedly deteriorated, necessitating his transfer to a medical facility.

Earlier today, it was confirmed that Armenian authorities detained six individuals as part of an ongoing criminal investigation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Committee. Among those detained are Robert Kocharyan, his son Sedrak, and several other individuals suspected of involvement in alleged criminal schemes.

Robert Kocharyan, who served as the second president of Armenia from 1998 to 2008, has frequently been the subject of legal proceedings and political controversy in the country since leaving office. His political career has been marked by significant domestic turmoil and allegations of corruption, which have remained a focal point of Armenian judicial investigations in recent years.
