Netanyahu: “Bu sizin işiniz deyil”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly condemned the actions of Jewish settlers in the village of Qusra, located in the West Bank.

As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, Netanyahu stated in an interview with Channel 14 that security operations must be conducted exclusively by state institutions, such as the military and police.

Emphasizing that settlers should not interfere in military operations, the Prime Minister stated: "You want to enter the village? You will not enter. This is not your job. There is an army, police, and a government. I will not tolerate this."

Netanyahu added that such unauthorized actions damage Israel's international reputation and harm the settlement movement itself.

Despite criticizing the settlers' actions, Netanyahu reaffirmed his support for the expansion of settlement policy in the West Bank, a territory Israel refers to as "Judea and Samaria." According to the Prime Minister, there are currently approximately 160 farms and 84 communities in the region, noting that some were recently established while others have received government approval.

Tensions in the area escalated significantly following an incident on August 29, when dozens of masked Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian homes near Qusra.

The West Bank remains a focal point of ongoing regional tensions, with the status of Israeli settlements being a central issue in the broader Middle East peace process. The Israeli government's approach to these settlements often balances domestic political pressures with international diplomatic considerations.
