Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine, has issued fresh threats against Belarus, asserting that Ukraine possesses the capability to neutralize key military and strategic facilities within Belarusian territory.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing reports from international media, the rhetoric marks a significant escalation in tensions between Kyiv and Minsk.

"Considering the distances within Belarus, you can be certain that the entire territory is within range. If necessary, key targets will be destroyed," Podolyak stated. He further directed specific warnings toward Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, adding, "We are warning you; before taking any steps, you must consider the consequences, including the personal consequences for yourself."

The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has frequently drawn Belarus into the geopolitical discourse due to its close military alliance with Moscow. Belarus has served as a staging ground for Russian forces since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022. While Minsk has officially maintained that it is not a direct participant in the hostilities, Kyiv remains vigilant regarding potential threats emanating from its northern border, leading to periodic warnings from Ukrainian officials regarding the strategic vulnerability of Belarusian military infrastructure.
