The weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be variably cloudy on July 5, with occasional overcast conditions but remaining largely dry, according to the latest forecast.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorology Service has issued a weather advisory. While the day will be mostly dry, there is a possibility of short-term rain and lightning in some parts of the peninsula during the day. The south-western wind is expected to shift to a north-eastern breeze by the afternoon.

Temperatures in the capital are forecasted to range between 20-23°C at night and 30-34°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to be 754 mm of mercury, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 50-70%.

Across the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain is expected in several areas. Forecasters warn of potential short-term intensive precipitation, lightning, and hail in isolated locations. Fog is expected in some mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, accompanied by occasional strong westerly winds.

Temperatures in the regions will range from 20-24°C at night to 31-36°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will be cooler, ranging from 12-17°C at night and 18-23°C during the day, with some areas reaching up to 27-30°C.

These weather fluctuations are typical for the summer season in Azerbaijan, where the Caspian Sea's influence often creates localized microclimates, particularly along the Absheron Peninsula. The National Hydrometeorology Service regularly monitors these patterns to provide timely updates for public safety and agricultural planning.
