Efforts are underway to eliminate the consequences of a collector overflow caused by intensive rainfall in the Keshla settlement of Baku. Following heavy rains on April 5 and 6, urgent measures are being implemented to restore the damaged infrastructure in the affected areas.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Baku City Executive Power has released an official statement regarding the ongoing operations. It was noted that serious complications arose after water levels rose sharply in the Baku circular main collector, leading to an overflow at the intersection of M.A. Sabir and K. Afkari streets.
According to the official report, communal service departments of the Nizami district are conducting large-scale sanitary and cleaning operations. Residential yards and access roads are being cleared of mud and silt, followed by thorough washing. Disinfection work is also being carried out continuously across the territory. The Baku City Executive Power emphasized that appeals have been sent to relevant authorities to implement preventive measures and ensure such incidents do not recur in the future.
