A woman has been rescued from the rubble after a private residential house partially collapsed in the Bakikhanov settlement of Baku's Sabunchu district. The incident occurred on Garay Asadov Street following a localized landslide in the area.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) that rescuers from the Special Risky Rescue Service were immediately dispatched to the scene after receiving a call via the "112" hotline. Upon assessing the operational conditions, it was determined that Gunel Huseynova, born in 1996, had sustained various injuries and was trapped under debris caused by the collapse.
Using specialized equipment, the rescue teams successfully extracted the citizen from the ruins and handed her over to an emergency medical team for treatment. Relevant authorities have launched an investigation into the causes of the landslide and the structural integrity of the building. Such incidents in the capital's suburban areas are often monitored closely by municipal services to ensure public safety and prevent further infrastructure damage.
