Bakının elektrik şəbəkəsi bərpa olunur

Work is underway to restore the electricity network in Baku following damages caused by recent heavy rainfall and flooding. The restoration project includes the renewal of damaged sections of 10 kV cable lines (numbers 2585-565, 746-809, and 31-38) originating from the 110/35/10 kV "Darnagul" substation within the Binagadi electric network.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, these measures are part of an extensive action plan approved by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev. The decree focuses on eliminating the consequences of damages caused by torrential rains and floods in Baku and various regions across Azerbaijan. To support these efforts, 15,008,260 manats have been allocated to "Azerishig" OJSC.

The restoration program further encompasses the replacement of damaged equipment at substation No. 89 in the Bilajari network and substation No. 360 in the Surakhani network. Additionally, in the Khatai district, a 4-kilometer section of the 35 kV overhead power line between the Ahmadli and No. 200 substations will be replaced with a double-circuit underground cable. Similar upgrades and repairs are scheduled for substation No. 22 in the Sabunchu district and several transformer stations (KTM 378, 382, 171, 564, 1206, and 176) in the Khazar district.

This infrastructure initiative reflects Azerbaijan's commitment to maintaining a resilient energy grid capable of withstanding extreme weather events. In recent years, the government has prioritized the modernization of the national power system to ensure uninterrupted supply to both residential and industrial sectors. These efforts are particularly vital in the capital, Baku, which serves as the country's primary economic and administrative hub.
