Traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads across Baku, causing delays for commuters during peak hours.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an official update regarding the current traffic situation in the capital.
As of the latest report, significant traffic density is being observed at the following locations:
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 Yanvar" metro station;
- 1st Lake Side Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- Binagadi highway, in the direction of the "Azadlyg Prospekti" metro station;
- 8 Noyabr Avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street towards the city center;
- Uzeyir Hajibayli Street, up to the intersection with Azadlyg Avenue;
- Tbilisi Avenue, from the "20 Yanvar" metro station towards the city center;
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Muzaffar Narimanov Street towards the "20 Yanvar" metro station.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) operates under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan. The center utilizes advanced monitoring systems, including CCTV cameras and sensors, to manage traffic flow and reduce congestion in the rapidly expanding capital city. Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and utilize alternative roads where possible to avoid delays.
