Due to scheduled maintenance and repair work, the movement of vehicles will be temporarily restricted on several streets and road sections in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA).
According to the agency, traffic restrictions will be implemented in phases: on the road section between Mikayil Aliyev Street and Kamil Balakishiyev Street starting from 09:00 on September 2; on the section of Kamil Balakishiyev Street from its intersection with Rustam Rustamov Street to School No. 61 starting from 10:00 on September 2; and on Abdulla Rahimov Street in the Khatai district starting from 08:00 on September 3.
"Drivers are requested to use alternative routes during the repair period, adhere to the requirements of temporary road signs installed in the area, and show understanding regarding the ongoing work," the statement noted.
The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads regularly conducts infrastructure upgrades across Baku to improve road safety and traffic efficiency. These temporary restrictions are part of broader efforts to modernize the city's transport network and ensure the longevity of road surfaces in the capital.
