A driver has been arrested in Baku for reckless driving, an act locally referred to as "avtoxuliqanlıq" (hooliganism on the road).
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Baku City State Traffic Police Department.
According to the report, officers from the Traffic Police Department of the Khazar District Police Department detained Nahid Muradov, the driver of a VAZ 2107 vehicle with the state registration plate 90-KM-745. Muradov was apprehended after committing gross traffic violations and performing dangerous maneuvers that posed a real threat to the life and health of other road users.
A protocol was drawn up against the driver in accordance with the relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan and submitted to the appropriate court for review. By the court's decision, N. Muradov's right to drive vehicles has been restricted for a period of one year, and he has been sentenced to 15 days of administrative detention.

The State Traffic Police regularly conducts operations to identify and penalize drivers who disregard traffic regulations and endanger the public.
