Traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads across Baku, impacting the morning commute for many drivers.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an update regarding the current traffic situation in the capital.
As of the latest report, traffic density is observed in the following locations:
- Heydar Aliyev Avenue, main road, in the direction of the city center;
- 8 Noyabr Avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street towards the city center;
- Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, up to the intersection with Azadlig Avenue;
- Tbilisi Avenue, from the "20 Yanvar" metro station towards the city center;
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 Yanvar" metro station;
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Muzaffar Narimanov Street towards the "20 Yanvar" metro station;
- Ali Mustafayev Street, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- 1st Lake Side Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center regularly monitors traffic flow in Baku to optimize road safety and efficiency. Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and consider alternative roads to avoid delays caused by the current congestion in these key transit corridors.
