Azerbaijan and Serbia have held bilateral military cooperation talks involving representatives from the defense ministries of both nations. The meeting focused on strengthening strategic ties and expanding the scope of joint activities between the two countries.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the session took place at the International Military Cooperation Department. During the meeting, officials discussed the current state of military cooperation and its development prospects, while engaging in a broad exchange of views on topics of mutual interest. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the implementation of activities scheduled under the 2025 military cooperation plan.
At the conclusion of the discussions, the "Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2026 between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia" was officially signed. This agreement underscores the growing defense partnership between Baku and Belgrade, which has seen significant progress in recent years through high-level visits and technical cooperation.
