Azerbaijan is set to export a new batch of diesel fuel to Armenia tomorrow. The shipment, consisting of 16 wagons of petroleum products, will be dispatched from the Bilajari station of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the delivery also includes transit cargo from Russia. Specifically, six wagons of fertilizer and four wagons of grain will be transported through Azerbaijani territory to reach Armenia. This logistical operation highlights the utilization of Azerbaijan's transport infrastructure for regional transit and trade.

The use of Azerbaijani rail networks for transit and direct exports to Armenia follows ongoing efforts to normalize regional relations and unblock transport communications in the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan has consistently advocated for the opening of regional transport corridors, which is expected to enhance economic integration and stability. The Bilajari station, located in Baku, serves as a major hub for the country's railway network, facilitating the movement of goods between the Caspian region and international markets.
