Pakistan forces have carried out a series of air strikes on Afghan territory, resulting in civilian casualties.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing TOLO News, that the strikes targeted several locations across the neighboring country.
According to the reports, the aerial bombardments were directed at targets in Kabul, as well as the provinces of Kandahar, Paktiya, and Paktika. Zabiullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Afghan government, confirmed that the strikes led to the deaths of several civilians, though the exact number of casualties has not yet been officially disclosed.
Islamabad has repeatedly accused Kabul of providing safe havens to militants who carry out cross-border attacks within Pakistan. The Taliban authorities in Afghanistan continue to deny these allegations, asserting that they do not allow Afghan soil to be used for attacks against any other nation.
