Turkmenistan has expressed its special gratitude to Azerbaijan for the high-level organization of the meeting of the heads of government of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, this was stated by Nokerguly Ataguliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, during his speech at the second meeting of heads of government and vice presidents of the OTS member states held in Baku.
"We express our sincere gratitude to the Azerbaijani side and the OTS Secretariat for the excellent conditions created for the high-level conduct of this meeting, as well as for the hospitality shown," Ataguliyev noted. He emphasized that the current gathering will provide a new impetus to the development of multilateral relations among Turkic states, strengthen mutual trust, and elevate cooperation to a higher level.
The Organization of Turkic States, formerly known as the Turkic Council, serves as an intergovernmental organization aimed at promoting comprehensive cooperation among Turkic-speaking nations. Azerbaijan has been a proactive member, frequently hosting high-level summits and ministerial meetings to foster regional integration in fields such as trade, transport, and energy. The meeting in Baku underscores the capital's growing role as a diplomatic hub for the Turkic world and its commitment to the collective goals of the OTS.
