Police authorities in the Aghdam district have successfully identified and detained an individual suspected of involvement in recent fire incidents in the area, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Press Service of the MIA.
According to official reports, investigators analyzed footage from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and local video surveillance cameras. Based on the gathered evidence, authorities confirmed that agricultural fields located at the intersection of the Aghdam and Aghjabadi administrative territories were intentionally set on fire.
Preliminary investigations led to the identification and subsequent detention of 29-year-old Sabuhi Huseynli, who was allegedly operating a "Niva" vehicle with the state registration plate 77-PT-225 at the time of the incident.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. Necessary procedural measures are currently underway to bring Huseynli into the investigation as a suspect, ensure a comprehensive examination of all circumstances surrounding the event, and provide a legal assessment of the actions taken.
