On June 16, in Paris, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Adil Karimli held a meeting with Khondker M. Talha, President of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to UNESCO.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the discussions focused on cooperation within the framework of the UNESCO General Conference, priority topics on the international cultural and humanitarian agenda, and the promotion of multilateral dialogue within the organization.
Minister Adil Karimli noted the successful development of Azerbaijan's cooperation with UNESCO, emphasizing the significance of initiatives implemented under the organization's auspices. The parties exchanged views on intercultural dialogue, the promotion of cultural diversity, the preservation of intangible cultural heritage, and the expansion of international collaboration.
The meeting, which took place in a spirit of mutual understanding, highlights Azerbaijan's ongoing commitment to UNESCO's mission. Azerbaijan has long been an active partner of the organization, frequently hosting international forums dedicated to intercultural dialogue and contributing to the global preservation of cultural heritage sites.
