Adil Kərimli: İncəsənət müəllimlərinin maaşı artırıla bilər

The certification of art teachers in Azerbaijan is expected to lead to an increase in their monthly salaries, according to official statements made during a parliamentary discussion. Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Minister of Culture Adil Kerimli announced this prospect during a public hearing on the "Current status and development prospects of art schools" organized by the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee for Science and Education.

Addressing the differences between the previous evaluation methods and the upcoming standards, the minister emphasized that the new system is designed to provide financial incentives for educators. "The previous attestation exams did not result in salary increases. However, it is expected that this will be taken into account in the stages following the new certification process," Minister Adil Kerimli stated.

The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Culture to modernize the educational infrastructure in the arts sector across Azerbaijan. By implementing a rigorous certification framework, the government aims to enhance the quality of specialized education in Baku and regional centers, ensuring that the professional development of teachers is directly reflected in their social welfare and compensation packages.
