Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that Israel remains the primary obstacle to the implementation of the agreement reached between Tehran and the opposing party.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media reports, the minister emphasized that the agreement, which was initially aligned with Iran's interests, was undermined by the United States less than two weeks after its inception.

"Israel is the biggest opponent and the main obstacle to the implementation of this agreement," Araghchi asserted.

Reflecting on the diplomatic process, Araghchi noted that the achievement was not merely a personal success for him or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but a victory for the Iranian people. He added, "This was the result of the resistance shown during the conflict, which forced the enemy to accept Iran's demands."

The Iran nuclear issue, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), has been a central point of geopolitical tension for over a decade. The agreement, aimed at limiting Iran's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief, has faced significant challenges, particularly following the US withdrawal from the deal in 2018 and subsequent regional escalations involving Israel and Iran.
