A professional camera valued at $9,000 has been stolen from an office located in the Nasimi district of Baku, prompting an immediate police investigation.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs informed Operative Information Center-OMM that the report was filed after the expensive equipment went missing from the workplace. Following preliminary investigations, it was determined that the high-value camera was allegedly misappropriated by a colleague working in the same office as the victim.
As a result of operational measures carried out by officers of the 22nd Police Substation of the Nasimi District Police Department, a suspect identified as 35-year-old K. Hatamova was detained. Authorities are currently continuing the investigation into the facts of the case to determine all circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Nasimi district, where the incident occurred, is one of the central administrative zones of Azerbaijan's capital, housing numerous business centers and commercial offices. The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to prioritize the protection of private property and the swift resolution of such criminal activities within the city to ensure a secure environment for both businesses and residents in Azerbaijan.
