İranda 46 günlük internet qadağası: Həyat iflic olub

The internet monitoring group NetBlocks has reported that internet restrictions in Iran have reached their 46th consecutive day, severely impacting daily life and livelihoods across the country.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that according to the organization's data, the country remains almost entirely deprived of international internet access.

NetBlocks noted that the disruptions in connectivity intensified in late February, marking one of the longest-running internet blackouts in the nation's history. Despite the expansion of a so-called "white list" system—which permits access only to government-approved platforms—citizens are being forced to resort to risky methods and unauthorized tools to maintain contact with the outside world.

The organization emphasized that such systematic restrictions on internet access not only stifle the flow of information but also create significant hurdles for daily economic and social activities. Historically, such digital shutdowns in the region have been utilized during periods of domestic instability or to control the narrative during sensitive political transitions. This prolonged outage follows a pattern of increasing digital censorship aimed at isolating the domestic information space from global networks.
