Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Kyiv has officially commenced the export of military equipment and weaponry.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the head of state shared the announcement via his official Telegram channel. President Zelenskyy has instructed the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and national intelligence agencies to identify and list countries currently cooperating with Russia. It was noted that arms exports to these specific nations will be strictly prohibited to ensure that Ukrainian military technology does not fall into the hands of the Russian Federation.
The President emphasized that this strategic move is designed to prevent Moscow from gaining any access to Ukraine's advanced defense technologies while simultaneously supporting the growth of the domestic defense industry. This decision reflects Ukraine's broader efforts to transition from a recipient of military aid to a significant player in the global defense market. By establishing a rigorous vetting process for export partners, Kyiv aims to safeguard its national security interests while strengthening economic ties with allied nations that support its territorial integrity.
