Temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to reach 31 degrees Celsius on May 13, according to the latest weather forecasts.

The National Hydrometeorological Service provided this information to the Operative Information Center-OMM. In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather is expected to be changeably cloudy and occasionally gloomy, but primarily rainless. However, there is a possibility of short-term light rain and lightning in some areas during the night and morning hours. The south-east wind is projected to be replaced by a north-west wind in the morning.

The temperature in the capital will range from 15-18°C at night and 24-29°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will drop from 755 mm Hg to 751 mm Hg, while relative humidity will be 60-65% at night and 45-50% during the day. In most regions of Azerbaijan, the weather will be mostly dry, though occasional precipitation, lightning, and hail are expected in some mountainous and foothill areas. Daytime temperatures in the regions are forecasted to reach 26-31°C, while mountainous areas will see highs of 17-22°C, reaching 26°C in certain locations.

The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan, which operates under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, regularly monitors the country's diverse climate zones to provide accurate forecasts. May typically serves as a transitional period in Azerbaijan, where the influence of subtropical air masses begins to increase, leading to the sharp temperature rises observed in the current forecast. These updates are vital for the country's agricultural sector and public safety management during seasonal shifts.
