A delegation from the National Defense University of Türkiye, led by Vice-Rector Professor Talat Canbolat, has visited the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. The visit underscores the deepening military and educational cooperation between the two brotherly nations.

According to the Ministry of Defense, as reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Turkish guests visited several historical monuments and were briefed on the consequences of vandalism committed against Azerbaijani cultural heritage during the occupation. The delegation was provided with detailed information regarding the large-scale restoration and reconstruction projects currently being implemented in the region under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. During a visit to an "N" military unit, Azerbaijani servicemen shared their combat experiences and memories from the 44-day Patriotic War and other successful operations that restored the country's territorial integrity.

The visit reflects the high level of strategic alliance between Baku and Ankara, particularly following the Shusha Declaration of 2021. Military-educational exchange remains a cornerstone of this partnership, as Azerbaijan continues to modernize its armed forces according to the model of the Turkish Armed Forces. As part of their itinerary, the Turkish National Defense University delegation is also scheduled to visit the Separate Combined Arms Army to further discuss bilateral cooperation in military training and expertise sharing.
