On September 7, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Press Service of the President of Azerbaijan reported on the call.
During the conversation, the heads of state discussed a range of topical issues regarding economic, trade, and humanitarian cooperation. Both leaders reached an agreement on intensifying bilateral relations across various levels.
Russia and Azerbaijan maintain a strategic partnership characterized by high-level political dialogue and extensive cooperation in energy, transport, and regional security sectors.
