Sabah FC has officially announced the extension of its contract with Serbian midfielder Veljko Simic. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the new agreement secures the player's services for the next two years.
As Simic signed the new contract as a free agent, no transfer fee was involved in the transaction. The midfielder originally joined Sabah in August of last year on loan from the Turkish club Sivasspor.
Since his arrival in Baku, Simic has become a pivotal figure in the squad, making a total of 34 appearances. His impact has been significant, contributing 12 goals and 13 assists across all competitions. During the previous season, Simic played a key role in helping Sabah compete at the highest level of Azerbaijani football, further solidifying the club's position in the Azerbaijan Premier League.
