The United Kingdom, France, and Germany have issued a joint statement expressing deep concern over Iran's activities in the region and affirming their readiness to respond to potential threats.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the document states that London, Paris, and Berlin are fully prepared to implement "necessary and proportionate defense measures" against Iran. The three European nations emphasized that they are closely monitoring Tehran's actions to ensure regional stability remains intact.

It is essential to take collective steps to protect security interests. Preventive defense mechanisms must be activated against Iran's activities. It is necessary to take proportionate response measures within the framework of international law.

This joint diplomatic move comes at a time of heightened geopolitical tension in the Middle East. The E3 (UK, France, and Germany) have historically played a central role in mediating and monitoring Iranian nuclear and regional policies, often coordinating with the United States to maintain international security standards. In Azerbaijan, which shares a border with Iran, such regional security developments are monitored closely due to their potential impact on South Caucasus stability.

The statement underscores a unified European front aimed at deterring further escalation. By invoking the principle of "proportionate response," the three powers are signaling a shift toward a more proactive defense posture while remaining within the boundaries of established international legal frameworks.
