Natural gas supply will be temporarily suspended in several villages within the Masalli and Astara districts tomorrow.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Lankaran Regional Gas Exploitation Department of the "Azerigaz" Production Union, which operates under the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
According to the official statement, the suspension is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance and repair works in preparation for the upcoming autumn-winter season. Consequently, on June 30, starting from 10:00 AM until the completion of the works, gas supply will be interrupted in the village of Hishkadara in the Masalli district, as well as the villages of Penser, Kakalos, Bala Shahagaji, and Gamishoba in the Astara district.
Routine maintenance of gas infrastructure is a standard procedure conducted by SOCAR's "Azerigaz" to ensure the reliability and safety of the distribution network, particularly ahead of the high-demand winter months when heating requirements increase significantly across Azerbaijan.
