Baku Metro has officially announced temporary service restrictions on several routes due to ongoing construction and maintenance works.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Baku Metro Closed Joint-Stock Company has released details regarding the current operational changes affecting passenger transit.
The following travel directions are currently unavailable for passengers:
- From Darnagul station towards Hazi Aslanov and Icherisheher;
- From Hazi Aslanov towards Darnagul;
- From Icherisheher towards Darnagul.
Operations remain unaffected on the following routes:
- Hazi Aslanov – Icherisheher;
- Jafar Jabbarli – Khatai.
Additionally, passengers can continue to transfer from the Green Line at Memar Ajami station to the Purple Line without interruption. These measures are part of the ongoing infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving the safety and efficiency of the Baku Metro system, which serves as the primary mode of public transportation in the capital of Azerbaijan. The metro network is crucial for daily commuting, and the administration typically implements such restrictions during off-peak hours or scheduled maintenance periods to minimize disruption to the public.
