Temperatures to reach 37°C in Azerbaijan

On August 15, weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are expected to be variably cloudy and primarily rainless, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

Forecasters noted a slight probability of short-term rain in some areas during the morning hours. A moderate north-westerly wind is expected to strengthen intermittently during the day. Air temperatures in the capital are forecast to range between 22-25°C at night and 29-32°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 759 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 70-75% at night and 50-55% during the day.

Across the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain is expected in certain areas. In some locations, there is a possibility of short-term, intense showers accompanied by lightning and hail, with precipitation likely to intensify in mountainous and foothill regions during the night and morning. Fog is also expected in some mountainous areas during the early hours. A moderate easterly wind will prevail.

Temperatures in the regions are forecast to reach 22-26°C at night and 32-37°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will range from 12-17°C at night to 20-25°C during the day.
