The State Social Protection Fund (SSPF), under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is scheduled to complete the payment of pensions for May in Baku, Sumgait, and the Absheron district on May 14.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing the SSPF, that the funds will be transferred to the bank accounts of beneficiaries throughout the day. Citizens will be able to withdraw their pensions from ATMs of relevant banks once the transfers are finalized.
The Fund further noted that pensions for individuals entitled to benefits on preferential terms will also be paid according to the established monthly schedule. This systematic approach ensures the timely distribution of social security payments across Azerbaijan, maintaining the welfare of the country's retired population. In recent years, Azerbaijan has implemented significant digital reforms in its social protection system, allowing for the automated and transparent distribution of social transfers and pensions through electronic platforms.
