Azərbaycanda iki yeni institut yaradıldı

The Garabagh Regional Scientific Research and Innovations Institute and the Applied Sciences Institute have been established under the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan. These new entities are designed to bolster the nation's scientific capacity and foster innovation through modern research frameworks.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree to this effect. According to the document, these scientific institutions are established as public legal entities and will be equipped with modern infrastructure and experimental production bases meeting international standards. The Cabinet of Ministers has been tasked with overseeing the reorganization and liquidation processes, while the Ministry of Science and Education will manage founder responsibilities and approve the institutes' charters within a two-month period.

This initiative aligns with Azerbaijan's broader strategy to modernize its scientific sector and integrate innovative research into the national economy. The establishment of the Garabagh-focused institute specifically supports the ongoing restoration and development efforts in the liberated territories, aiming to provide scientific backing for regional progress. By fostering applied sciences, the government seeks to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application, enhancing Azerbaijan's competitive edge in the global scientific community.
