The Management Skills exam, representing the final round of the in-person stage of the 6th "Yukselish" (Ascent) competition, has been successfully conducted.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the "Yukselish" Working Group.
The examination took place at the State Examination Center (SEC) Electronic Examination Corps, organized across two sessions. A total of 1,468 candidates, who successfully passed the analytical thinking exam, qualified to participate in this management skills assessment.
The Management Skills exam consisted of three distinct components: "Stable situation-based tasks," "Branching situation-based tasks," and an "Emotional Intelligence" assessment tool. Participants were presented with a total of 120 tasks, with a total exam duration of four hours.
Reflecting the competition's commitment to international assessment standards, a remote examination option was provided for participants residing abroad. These candidates completed the exam online using proctoring methods, with modern technological solutions employed to ensure security and transparency throughout the process.
Exam results will be calculated using the T-scale method. This evaluation technique, commonly utilized in international assessments such as TOEFL, GMAT, and SAT, allows for a more objective, comparative, and equitable evaluation of participant performance. Candidates will receive their results in the form of a detailed report within 5-7 business days.
Participants who successfully complete the in-person stage will advance to the semi-final round of the 6th "Yukselish" competition. The winners of this year's competition will be determined following the conclusion of the semi-final and final stages.
It should be noted that the "Yukselish" competition saw a record number of applications this year, with 17,651 candidates registering for the 6th season. Of these, 6,112 participated in the analytical thinking exam, leading to the 1,468 candidates who qualified for this final in-person round.
The "Yukselish" competition was established by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on July 26, 2019. The competition aims to identify and support talented, high-potential managers. Winners receive a one-year individual development plan guided by mentors, as well as a cash prize of 20,000 manats for self-development.
