Weather forecasts for August 29 in Azerbaijan indicate that temperatures are expected to reach as high as 36°C, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will be variably cloudy and primarily rainless. However, residents should prepare for intermittent, strong north-westerly winds.

Temperatures in the capital are forecast to range between 21-25°C at night and 28-31°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to be 758 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 60-70% at night and 50-55% during the day.

Across most of Azerbaijan, the weather is expected to remain largely dry, though intermittent rain is forecast for some mountainous and foothill regions. Meteorologists have warned of potential short-term, intense downpours accompanied by lightning and hail, particularly during the evening and night hours. Fog is also expected in some mountainous areas during the morning. Westerly winds are likely to strengthen in certain locations.

Temperatures across the country are projected to reach 32-36°C during the day, while mountainous regions will experience cooler conditions, with daytime temperatures ranging from 20-25°C.

The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these climatic shifts to provide essential data for public safety and agricultural planning, as Azerbaijan's diverse geography often leads to significant localized weather variations.
