An informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is scheduled to take place today on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The gathering brings together top diplomats from member and observer states to align positions on pressing international matters and strengthen intra-organizational cooperation.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing TRT Haber, the session is organized in accordance with decisions reached during the 12th OTS Summit held in Gabala on October 7, 2025, which emphasized the need for more frequent consultations among foreign ministers. The agenda includes the coordination of foreign policy within the Turkic world, regional developments concerning Gaza and Iran, and preparations for Türkiye’s upcoming term presidency of the OTS, which it is set to assume in the second half of the year.
The Antalya Diplomacy Forum serves as a high-level platform for global leaders and diplomats to address complex international challenges through dialogue. The Organization of Turkic States, which has evolved significantly since its inception, continues to play an increasingly vital role in the geopolitical landscape, fostering economic, cultural, and security ties among its members, including Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. This meeting underscores the commitment of the member states to maintaining a unified stance on regional stability and collective interests.
