A large-scale drone attack attributed to Ukraine has targeted the Moscow region, resulting in at least 10 injuries, according to local officials. The incident marks a significant escalation in aerial activity within the ongoing conflict.

As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed the casualties. The strikes were directed toward the cities of Podolsk, Domodedovo, and Odintsovo. Vorobyov stated that those injured include one child and three Chinese nationals, all of whom are currently receiving medical attention.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that between 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. local time, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 381 Ukrainian-operated unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to the ministry, these drones were detected over Moscow and several other regions, as well as over the airspace of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

This surge in drone activity highlights the intensifying nature of the conflict, with both sides increasingly relying on UAV technology for long-range strikes. The use of drones has become a central component of modern warfare, allowing for attacks on critical infrastructure and military targets deep behind front lines, often leading to significant civilian concerns and regional instability.
